Miss Troup County 2022
Hi everyone! This page is dedicated to my journey to Miss Georgia.

One month ago, I spent my week competing in the Miss Georgia Scholarship Organization. It was my first time competing for the job of Miss Georgia and it was one of the best experiences of my life.
In my 10 minute private interview with the judges, I was asked if I felt I was at a disadvantage competing against other contestants that have been competing for 7+ years. My response was simple, absolutely not. Competing for Miss Georgia is not only about winning the title. It is about learning interview skills, how to be successful in public speaking, winning scholarship dollars, and making life-long friends.
While I did not walk away with my dream job, I continue to move forward with something to be proud of. I was voted, by the contestants, Miss Congeniality. This award means more to me than my fellow contestants and friends will ever know. One of my main goals in life is to make the people around me smile. With so much hate in the world, it is every single person's responsibility to portray kindness and love to each other. To have won this award, I am reminded of why it is so important to be kind to the people around us.
So with that being said, I am so proud to compete in the Miss America Organization. I'm looking forward to everything to come in the 2023 Miss Georgia Scholarship Competition!
