Proud Dad Pledge

Are you a proud dad? Celebrate fatherhood with us at our annual Proud Dad Cookout!

This year, we are partnering with the Columbus Department of Public Safety, Franklin County Department of Job and Family Services, Columbus Area United Way, and partner organizations of the Franklin County Fatherhood Coalition to put together the biggest celebration yet.

We are going to have bounce houses, game trucks, carnival games, virtual reality, kindergarten readiness activities and more! Most exciting, we are going to be having a cookoff! The Inaugural Grill Master Invitational will feature 15 dads trying to prove that they are the best cook in the city.

Cooking with Dads is a FREE health initiative for dads and their children. This event fosters building and reinforcing healthy relationships between fathers, grandfathers and their children/grandchildren, while exposing them to resources and methods that will help them create healthy meals.

This hands-on event is for dads and their kids as well as kids with mentors or other father-figure males in their life, will include instructional meal prep sessions with local professional chefs, healthy food demonstrations, and surprise guests!
