It’s Day 4 of Environmental Education Week!
We’re continuing our daily environmental activity challenge!
Thursday's activity: Birding 🐦
You might be surprised how many different species are active right in your own neighborhood, park, or schoolyard. Each bird has its own patterns, sounds, and role in the ecosystem—once you start noticing them, it’s hard to stop 🪶
With peak migration season right around the corner, now is the perfect time to start looking up.

It's day 3 of Environmental Education Week! 🌳
We’re continuing our daily environmental activity challenge with a chance to explore beyond your own backyard.
Today’s activity invites you to take a virtual journey across the United States—discovering different regions, ecosystems, and the unique environments that make each one special. From the Great Lakes to coastal habitats, there’s a lot to learn about how geography shapes the natural world around us.
It’s a great way to connect local environments (like right here in Ohio!) to the bigger picture 🌿

It’s Day 2 of Environmental Education Week!🌿
We’re continuing our daily environmental activity challenge!
Tuesday’s activity: Group Cleanup 🗑️
Take a walk with a few people you know and pay attention to the little things: what’s been left behind, what doesn’t belong, and what you can do about it. It doesn’t take a big group or a big plan—just a willingness to leave a place better than you found it.
Small actions like picking up litter might not feel huge in the moment, but they add up quickly—and they matter more than people think 🌱
