Several years back Brian Salyer and I started talking about getting into writing a shoegaze album. We kicked around ideas and then got to writing.
It was a slow process. We worked with a few guest musicians and then found a vocalist, Abbey Studor. She was the final piece that made our project, Elko Blue complete. We spent two years recording, editing and mastering, and after working long and hard on this release, we finally have it done and ready!
There are some great guest performances on it by my brother, Richard Raponi on guitar, My old Spineriders bandmate Todd Jacops on guitar and Rhodes piano and my dear friend Leah Hoover who was the first musician I ever recorded way, way back in the day.
The album is currently for sale on Bandcamp but will be available on all major platforms shortly, including iTunes and Spotify.

Update time!

Our forthcoming album has been officially sent to Chris Keffer at Magnetic North Studios for mastering!

Once it’s back we will post up a few clips as we do some label shopping and make things available through our bandcamp page.
