Blue Star Families is the nation's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting military and eteran families in the communities where they live.

Approximately 600,000 active-duty and transitioning military families move each year, most moving into local neighborhoods and not onto military bases. When families feel a sense of belonging, everything else improves--financial security, mental health and wellness, resilience, and even military retention.

To help build community awareness, Blue Star Families holds a Blue Star Welcome Week every year. Together, we can make a difference for the men and women who serve, Veterans, and their families, simply by participating in Blue Star Welcome Week.

This year, Blue Star Welcome Week is from 24 September through 2 October. Click on the link below for more information on how you can participate in your local communities.

LifeWorks USA is excited to participate in Blue Star Welcome Week this year. We will have a booth at Vet Fest on 24 September from 11a-4p at Start Skydiving in Middletown, OH. Included in the day will be family activities, a cook-out, opportunities to connect with Veterans, and opportunities to learn about organizations to support our military families in the southwest Ohio region.
