It’s been months since we’ve logged a Saturday morning run together because of his shoulder surgery, then my hip surgery and up until 10 minutes before we left I wasn’t sure that I’d actually go, I kept saying “yeah, maybe” because I’m still very much working through the mental part of post-op recovery and trusting my body, but I’m so glad I did. It was the release that I needed after a long week.
