Honored to Be Part of The Putnam County Fair - Ottawa, Ohio Opening Ceremonies!

It was my pleasure to attend the kick off of the 171st Putnam County Fair and take part in the opening ceremonies. This is a tradition that brings together families, friends, businesses, farmers, and neighbors from across the county.

The fair also showcases 4H and FFA programs and the hard work, dedication, and commitment of their members. From the livestock exhibits and agricultural displays to the rides, food, entertainment, and youth programs, there's truly something for everyone to enjoy.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, exhibitors, and attendees who make this event possible every June. Wishing everyone a safe, fun, and memorable fair week!

🇺🇸 Flag Day reminds us that the American flag is more than fabric and color—it is a symbol of the enduring principles that define our nation.

It represents liberty safeguarded by law, justice applied equally, individual rights protected by the Constitution, and the belief that freedom carries both privilege and responsibility.

The values embodied in our flag were not inherited without sacrifice, nor are they guaranteed without vigilance. Each generation bears the responsibility to preserve and protect the principles that have strengthened our nation for 250 years: respect for the rule of law, civic responsibility, equality of opportunity, and a commitment to the common good.

As we honor the Stars and Stripes today, let us also reaffirm our commitment to the ideals it represents. A strong nation is not measured solely by its history, but by its dedication to defending the freedoms, institutions, and values that make that history worth preserving.

On this Flag Day, may we never take for granted the liberties we enjoy, and may we continue to protect the principles that unite us as one nation under the flag.
