Our Story
I’m a wife, mom and coffee lover who loves to sketch, design and write. In high school, I would draw Disney characters on 3x5 index cards and pass them out to my friends in class (sorry Mr. Hansen!). Later in life, I discovered handlettering and modern calligraphy, and fell in love! I’ve been working on my skills and learning as much as possible since then.
I created Lovely Arrows Designs in 2016 as a creative outlet. As the mother of two kids (Parker, 14 and Kyleigh, 6), I wanted a name for my business that would represent the pride and love I have for my children. I came up with Lovely Arrows from Psalm 127:4 “Like a warrior’s fistful of arrows are the children of a vigorous youth. Oh, how blessed are you parents, with your quivers full of children!”
I’d started the business in Summer 2016, but never really discovered my niche until I began working as an Event & Wedding Coordinator. In 2018, I fine-tuned my business to focus on the wedding industry, and have branched out to include calligraphy, design and illustration!
