An endless supply of cherished moments. Strength and comfort for difficult moments. Resilience to overcome challenges. Kindness toward yourself and others. Opportunities to serve others. Humility to learn from others. Lastly, an abundant supply of love for others but most importantly yourself and may that love shared return to you multiplied.

Always remember, your latter will be greater than your past!

This time around, I did it for me. Yes, I am doing it for ME.

Over three years post-divorce on this healing journey, I’ve learned soooo much about myself.

This journey has not been easy by no means; a lot of work went into this process. It took a very long time to just face myself. Yes, to face myself and forgive myself for allowing things to happen to me.

Forgiveness for me looked like ~ standing in the mirror…looking at myself face-to-face and allowing myself to feel every single emotion as I told myself, “I forgive you, Tammie and I love you, Tammie.”

*This was a vital part of my healing*

Where it was initially hard for me to face myself without shedding tears, I do it with ease now. I absolutely love myself. I love everything about Tammie.

I’ve allowed old habits to die and began practicing healthy new habits.

Where I would always say yes, I’ve learned to exercise the word ‘no’ and without an explanation because no is a complete sentence!

*Protecting my peace is my number one priority*

I have embraced this self-care/healing journey and I am thriving and flourishing in it. I am crushing it. I love it here.

Taking the deliberate steps to nurture my mental health was imperative. Choosing me/you is not a luxury, it is a necessity.

I choose Tammie every single time.
