Flying by the seat of your pants is not the same as living in the moment, although many people may confuse the two concepts.
Mindfulness and intentionality are not only focused on being present, but also includes living in a contemplative manner. We want to practice mind-full-ness, not mind-empty-ness.
Mind-full-ness is not a state of constant brain clutter and overthinking; rather, it is a state of presence in which your mind is engaged in thoughtful (thought-full) pondering and contemplation, influenced by our Guides and Divine Universe.
If you do not have any forethought of your actions and your words, and if you do not have any afterthought of your actions and your words, you may think that you are living in the moment, but you are not. The moment is not yours, it does not belong to you. It belongs to whatever random thought or idea is possessing you in that moment.
To be self-possessed means that you are mindfully aware of that which is within you.
When you are self-possessed, nothing else can possess that space within you.
Then, you can truly embody flow, alignment and mindfulness.
Then, you are not only present, but you become Presence.
