We’re SO PROUD to offer nutrition counseling for $0 to our insurance clients. It just feels like a messed up system when a lot of our colleagues choose NOT to accept insurance because of how low the reimbursement rates are.
To be verrrry clear, I don’t blame ANY Dietitian who chooses not to accept insurance because I know how hard it is. But, wouldn’t it be a wonderful world if Dietitians were reimbursed properly by insurance companies so more Dietitians would be willing to accept insurance so everyone who had insurance could receive nutrition care???? A girl can dream 💭
