Wilson Pyrography

I decided to try burning on canvas. There is definitely a learning curve but I think I like it. The mountain range image was a found image (artist unknown) and transferred with graphite paper and the other 2 I sketched directly onto the canvas.

I wasn't able to do much for a while because of shoulder pain but have recently been finishing up unfinished projects and unearthing things I thought I had already sent out. Here are some pictures of my more recent projects. My WIP is part of a Christmas gift so I won't be able to share pictures of that for a while.

Current work in progress. Usually I use graphite paper to transfer images to the wood but this time I decided to sketch directly onto the wood... so far so good I think
