This little powder room was long overdue for an update, as it is one of the most used spaces in this home. Anyone who lived through the 80's/90's is probably very familiar with the original wallpaper-bordered theme, but in addition to dating the space, it also made it feel small and dark-not an ideal setting for a room most used as a hair/makeup station. Updates included a custom modern vanity and wall cabinetry, open shelving, sleek tile and a lighted mirror along with fun vanity lights. The space is now chic and inviting for guests as well as more functional for the residents.

We checked the schedule—nothing’s late,
Of course it’s tight… Dan set the pace.
Coffee’s strong, production’s on,
He’s already solved three problems by dawn.

He spots a crooked stud from down the hall,
Catches the detail before it can fall.
Budgets sharp, standards high—
“Do it right” is his battle cry.

But beyond the bids and jobsite plans,
He builds people—not just spans.
Integrity first, relationships true—
That’s the standard he sets for all of us too.
