This is it... Our last weekend open at Legacy Smokehouse.

We’ll be open Friday and Saturday from 11 AM–9 PM, or until we’re sold out.

The bar will be open for lunch and dinner, and we’re running 50% off all bourbon all weekend.

Saturday will be our final day open, and we will be closed Sunday.

Over the last several weeks since we announced that Legacy would be closing, we have been absolutely overwhelmed by the love, support, stories, hugs, messages, and familiar faces walking through our doors. To everyone who has already stopped in to say goodbye, share a meal, raise a glass, or tell us what this place has meant to you...thank you.

This has been emotional, humbling, and honestly pretty incredible.

Legacy has always been more than barbecue. It has been community, memories, celebrations, hard work, late nights, packed patios, catering events, regulars who became friends, and a staff that poured everything they had into this place.

As we head into our final weekend, we just ask for your patience and understanding. We are expecting long lines and a lot of familiar faces, and we’ll be doing our best to serve as many people as possible. Because of that, we may need to limit quantities on certain items so more customers have the chance to share one last meal with us.

We hope you’ll come see us one more time this weekend. Grab your favorites, visit the bar, share a memory, and help us send off this chapter the right way.

We are sharing the unfortunate news that we have decided to shut down Legacy in Hilliard at the end of this month.

Before the patio, before the rooftop bar, before the full restaurant rhythm, there was the trailer, the smoker, the tent, the folding tables, and a whole lot of hope.

Nine years ago, the early days of Legacy were scrappy, exhausting, exciting, and honestly pretty special. We were learning, building, serving, figuring it out as we went, and trying to create something that felt bigger than barbecue.

Looking back now, that’s exactly what happened.

Legacy became more than a place to eat. It became part of birthdays, graduations, weddings, fundraisers, team meals, Friday nights, patio nights, and Old Hilliard memories.

Thank you for being part of this ride from the beginning, the middle, or somewhere along the way.

As we prepare to close the restaurant at the end of this month, we’re feeling a lot of emotions: sadness, gratitude, pride, and hope for what might come next.

We don’t have all the answers yet. But we do know this: Legacy has always been about more than the building.

It’s about the food.
The people.
The smoke.
The community.
The staff.
The memories.

So yes, this chapter is closing. But we’re hopeful there’s another one ahead.
