In this video I share my thoughts about our conversation regarding two common struggles:
- I "should" journal, but I don't
- I know I'll quit journaling after a few weeks, so why even try in the first place?

I Know I "Should"
There's a part of you that doubts whether "this" method will work.
Instead of trying to convince this doubt to NOT be doubtful, let's instead invite the doubt to express itself.
Let's hear what exactly your doubt is afraid about.
Would the doubt part of you be ok if you try a new method of journaling, just to see if it genuinely makes you feel better and more calm?
This is not about weight loss, this is about emotional processing and relieving emotion from being stuck. Maybe the doubt voice in you is afraid that you'll ignore your feelings (and get worried about calories) if you start journaling?
Since doubt is a valid emotion, then connecting with doubt like you would with any other emotion is the way forward.
I Know I'll Quit
The second style of journaling is different than anything you've ever tried before.
It's about dialoging and conversing with your inner system of inner children.
I know this sounds crazy, a little.
Inner children? A bunch of inner children living inside of me?
But here's the good news - once you learn to connect with your inner children in a meaningful way...
- Once you can get your system of inner children to stop fighting each other ...
- Once you can connect with and listen to each inner child at a time, to understand it, to hear it, the vulnerable parts deep within you ...
- Once you can see these parts and truly connect to them ...
You will quit journaling.
Or rather, you won't need to journal anymore.
Journaling is like building a bridge to your inner world.
Once the bridge is built, you don't need to keep building it!
You'll let go of journaling.
This is not quitting.
Do you quit using training wheels when learning to ride a bike?
Do you quit looking at your fingers when you start playing guitar?
No. You naturally stop using training wheels and you naturally stop looking at your fingers.
In the same way, you naturally stop journaling as you connect to your True Self.
