In the Columbus area this Saturday?
Come see Community Pride! One of our members will be hosting a workshop there about how to give q***r youth space based on their experience as a Trevor Project crisis counselor. Come hang out and feel free to connect and ask questions.
Hope to see you all there!
If you're in or around Columbus-
We will be hosting meet and greets to both meet people who are interested in joining as well as canvass the community and see what is needed most in what areas so we can better connect everyone.
We will also be medics at another event on October 4th to help the Ohio Divest Coalition trying to get Franklin County to reinvest (as divestment is illegal here) in something that isn't Israeli war bonds.
Events will be posted soon and please let me know if you have questions or concerns. Thank you all! 😘

We are coalition builders as well.
We will be spotlighting orgs in our area as a way to uplift them and show you there is so much more going on and ways to help! Let us know if you want to be shown here too.
The first org I'd like to spotlight is:
Us Together Inc, Columbus

Surface level wounds follow a standard procedure, but it's important to understand when on site first aid isn't enough. Severe bleeding is considered any amount of blood loss equal to half a can of soda. Numbness and intense pain both signify damage that cannot be seen by the eye. Infection can spread through the bloodstream when ignored, and any damage to veins or arteries require an immediate call to emergency services.
In all these situations it's important to follow up first aid with a trip to medical professionals.
Stay safe comrades!

Remember comrades, saving lives is a revolutionary act! Make sure you know what to do when someone is choking. Red Cross recommends switching between back blows and abdominal thrusts. (use chest thrusts if you can't reach around their stomach or if they are pregnant). If person becomes unresponsive call emergency medical services immediately.

Hello comrades! Red Star Mutual Aid is a new Columbus, Ohio based militant grassroots revolutionary organization with focus on community defense, mutual aid and coalition building. Before we can defend ourselves we must properly train with the most important step to being prepared: First Aid. We're running a gofundme (link in comments) for the necessary supplies to begin this task and appreciate any and all contributions to the cause.
Change starts at the ground level and there's plenty of work to be done.
"We must display determination, endurance, firmness and unanimity. We must stop at nothing. Everybody and everything must be used to save the rule of the workers and peasants, to save communism." - VI Lenin
