Born and raised in Compton and Long Beach, Duane stands in his truth and believes what has not killed him, will be great material for the stage. His laid back style, story telling, and quick wit commentary, he has the ability to find the funny in his everyday life. Those are ingredients for a future Comedy Star in the making.
At a young age, Duane begin taking drama classes, as his passion for entertaining was apparent. Seeing things in a different light after high school, he decided to make people laugh and feel good about themselves; he became a hairstylist. After 24 years behind the chair, he has decided to make people laugh in a larger audience and become a full-time comedian.
His beginnings started with Flappers Comedy University where he has performed in 3 student showcases, also seen at The Improv Hollywood and The Comedy Store Sunset.
