We are HIRING! We are looking for an Assistant Manager to work at least 30 but up to 40 hours per week, starting at up to $21 per hour (pay based on experience) and $.33 a mile. The position comes with pet supply sales commissions and incentives, discounts on pet supplies start immediately and Earned Sick/personal time and 1 week of paid Vacation after 6 months of employment
Responsibilities will Include assisting with but not limited to:
🐾Working with pets
- walking dogs
- doing pet sitting visits
- feeding and watering
- cleaning litter boxes, potty messes
🐾Customer service
- answering phones, emails
- meeting new customers
- daily communication
🐾Community Relations & Marketing
- social media posting
- events
🐾pet supplies portion
- inventory (ordering, in stock out of stock)
- shipping, packing & delivery
- monitoring and assisting with sales
- phone calls to distributors and manufacturers
🐾Managerial tasks
- scheduling of employees
- scheduling of pet services
- account payables & receivables
Candidates must: be kind, trustworthy, energetic, reliable and….
🐾LOVE ALL ANIMALS
🐾be familiar and have experience caring for them in some way
🐾be at least 18 years old
🐾want a LONG TERM position with a family and pet oriented, growing & local Pet business
🐾Have EXCELLENT customer service skills
🐾be available to work some nights and weekends
🐾be able to lift heavy objects (pet food)
🐾Have the ability and desire to walk up to a mile per walk
🐾have the ability to work some remote hours
🐾have a computer with access to the internet 🐾have a reliable phone & vehicle
🐾Have automobile insurance
