One year of Shred The Toad! Thank you for all of your support, we don’t exist without you.

Some highlights of the first year, VESC motor replacement, GTV and XRV conversion, a couple of battery packs and a couple of our own VSEC’s on the bench.

We also have created a BMS testing kit for diagnostic testing.

Replacement batteries have shown up for the Pint X repair. The broken cables have been replaced, BMS chip replaced, the battery box has modified and the dead batteries will be replaced.

GT, replaced the motor cable and have it back in the hub. Looking forward to getting this off the bench.

Finally the new battery for the XRV is coming along nicely. Time to get it in the box and hooked up to ride.

Almost finished with the GT, after a lengthy delay in the order, the cable is installed and the rebuild and testing begins.
The new battery for the XRV is coming along nicely, 18 of the 36 batteries have been welded together. Could this battery have a range of 50 miles?
Fusion Core, VSEC project called MM, is targeted for completion hopefully by the end of July.
Also a little change in the logo.

The GT motor cable replacement is in process, awaiting delivery of the part we need. We completed two pint tire changes with Armor Dilloz. Thank y’all so much for trusting us with your ride.

We also have a couple of cool projects going. On Wednesday 3/28, the Prowler will make attempt number two at the Northern Rail Trail from Boscawen to West Lebanon. This attempt was originally planned for the XRV, but our improvements were slightly delayed, so the prowler is making it now. To prepare the board we installed the JW chip to get a more accurate battery percentage. It also got a good cleaning and redid the foot pad sensor.

The JWXRV is getting a new battery and will now be the STTXRV. This is just the first of 3 batteries we are building. 18s2p for XRV and 30s2p for our VESC project all made from Molicel 21700 P50B’s. With the new battery the Northern Rail Trail seems like a one day trip.

We are still actively repairing one wheels, scooters and other PEV’s.

The VESC project is coming along, sticker design has been completed. Boxes and batteries cells have arrived. Now the process of turning those cells into batteries begins. 3 batteries to make, one to replace the JW battery in the XRV, and the other two for the VESC.

The battery that we made for the shop pint is working as expected. Testing will continue with this battery so we move forward with our VESC battery project.
