2025 isn't holding back with the winter weather! BRRRRR!!! We hope that everyone enjoyed their New Year!

Here are some things to keep in mind when driving in the current & upcoming conditions:

❄Reduce your speed - posted speed limits are based on ideal driving conditions not questionable bad weather conditions.
❄Watch for black ice - it is hard to spot but a couple of things to watch for are the tires of the vehicle in front of you will stop spraying water or look for a build-up of ice on a truck antenna, mirror arms, or the top corners of their windshield. This is all indicative that anything "wet" is frozen.
❄Accelerate and brake lightly - in bad weather don't do anything forcefully.
❄Inspect your vehicle - preparing your truck for winter is vital in preventing major issues. Be sure to check engine oil, tire pressure, and antifreeze levels. Do a thorough pre-trip inspection!!!!
❄Maintain a safe following distance - when there is heavy snow and/or low visibility if you can see the vehicle's tail lights ahead of you clearly you could be following too close.
❄Keep clean tail lights - clean off and check the visibility before heading out.
❄Keep a firm grip on the wheel to maintain control - use both hands!
❄Watch out for bridges and/or overpasses - elevated surfaces freeze quicker than the regular road.
