Tonight's Faulkner County Democratic Party fish fry was a great success. Dee Lawrence and his crew did a fabulous job.

Congratulations to Preston Scroggin, Jeff Stephens and Regina Oakley for their recognition tonight. They each have provided great service to our community.

We loved welcoming Senator Mark Pryor, Patrick Henry Hays and Nate Steel along with many, many other office holders and candidates. The Democratic Party is putting together a great slate for '14.

Thanks to Julie Adkisson, Kathryn Spinks, Nancy Graddy, Jim Volkert and all who helped make this happen. A big thank you to our Chair Chris McDonald for his leadership.

Hugh and I picked up all signs at polling locations and all large signs (except one that he will get in the morning). If we missed any, please let us know. Also, if you have a sign in your yard, please just put it in the recycle. Thank you for all who put up our signs or gave us permission to display our signs.

I just called my opponent and congratulated him on a hard fought race. I wish him the best. My campaign and all of our core team and volunteers worked hard and I believe we did everything we possibly could have done. I am proud of each and every person involved in my campaign. Thank you all. Love you.
