You may remember Lillia who was saved hours before her deadline at a shelter as she was exhibiting severe neurological symptoms. She spent many months after that with the amazing who navigated many vet appts and health issues and special food and medication related to her congenital liver shunt. Lillia would not be here today if it weren’t for Madison’s tireless efforts on her behalf. She was able to get surgery to correct the shunt and is now being weaned off her medications and special food and most importantly she found an amazing forever home!!!! Look how happy they are! These medical cases are so tough but it’s incredibly rewarding to see dogs that were once in dire straits get healthy and enjoy their lives ❤️.

Sophie is the kind of dog that people are usually begging us for. She’s cute as a button, extremely well behaved, loves other dogs and people, great out in public and just generally a sweet joy of a creature. She’s gotten very little interest and we have to chalk it up to her being older, and that really breaks our hearts. Senior dogs are really the best in so many ways and they are just as deserving as other dogs. Sophie’s family dumped her at the shelter with a euthanasia request due to her age (12), and she truly has so much life and so many adventures ahead of her. She just needs the perfect person to see how wonderful she is. Given her age and large size we would prefer a home without really little kids, but a well matched dog playmate would be great or she’s fine living as an only dog too. Lenny and Arya are the sweetest brother and sister kitten pair looking for a home together! They had an adopter back out on them after working on the logistics to get them there for a while 🙃 so they are back to square one and wondering why nobody wants to give them a home. They are well socialized with people and dogs (!!!) and just sweet cats. Lenny is the more social of the two but both are very nice cats. Somebody give these sweet kittens a home!
