Volunteers Needed For Our Basic Needs Program

I'm looking for volunteers to join our Basic Needs Program Committee.

We have a storage container off of Ontario Avenue at a local church here in Corona. Inside the storage container we keep a constant supply of hygiene products, laundry supplies, small kitchen appliances and non-perishable food items.

Our Cliff Climber clients go to the storage container once a month to shop for free taking supplies and necessities.

Volunteer Duties/Responsibilities
1. You would be given a key to the container.
2. You would help keep inventory of incoming and outgoing donations.
3. You would help with keeping the container organized.
4. Sometimes make deliveries to clients in need locally.
5. Sometimes use your porch as a drop off location.
6. Help us in collecting basic needs to keep the container stocked.
7. Share social media posts
8. Help coordinate basic needs drives

This committee is very important!
This committee is helping change lives right here in the Corona Norco area.

Ten years ago, we were homeless, lost in addiction, hopeless, and helpless. There was no light at the end of the tunnel, only dread and despair.
As Deuteronomy 28:67 (AMP) says: “In the morning you will say, ‘I wish it were evening!’ and in the evening you will say, ‘I wish it were morning!’, because of the dread in your heart with which you tremble, and because of the sight of your eyes which you will see.”
That verse captured exactly how we felt. It was as if time slowed down just to make the suffering last longer.
But God had a plan. He took two broken people and turned pain into purpose. It’s hard to believe that was our life 10 years ago. We’re still healing, still surrendering, and God is still working in us. He uses broken people all throughout the Bible, and somehow, He chose us too. What began as a husband and wife feeding families out of their car and praying in motel parking lots became a movement of love and restoration.
Since 2019, over 300 people have been connected to housing through Angels Over Cliffs.
It all started with a vision, and a page. I’ll never forget the first time I prayed out loud during outreach. I was terrified. Years later, that same person told me he never forgot that prayer. That’s how God works, He doesn’t call the equipped, He equips those who answer His call.
