Welcome to our newest bottle babies, Vanilla Bean, Maple, Mocha and Caramel! Four little kittens just a little over a week old and in need of rescue, all 4 ready to add a touch of sweetness to your morning coffee!

First we need to say thank you to their finder for bottle feeding and stimulating them every two hours while reaching out to rescues for help. 👏 They took the time to learn how to bottle feed a kitten and that’s awesome!

We know how difficult it is for one person to feed four kittens so we moved some of our weaned bottle babies around to make room for them. We split them up for a short time to make it easier on everyone. If you have ever wondered how bottle feeders can do what they do I’m sure they would tell you “lots of caffeine and a heavy dose of patience”.

Unfortunately this is a sad and not uncommon story of the momma cat being accidentally ran over by a car while probably just out in search of food so she could feed her kittens. We know momma’s don’t leave their babies otherwise. One thing we can do as a community is to help control the pet population by spaying and neutering. It’s important to do it if you own or acquire a kitten/cat or if there are strays in your area.

🐾Together we can make a pawsative change. Ask questions, get involved, share helpful resources, be kind to strays. If you can’t physically help find a rescue that will and donate to help them. 🐾

Congratulations to Willow, Penny, Opal, Freddie, and Epiphany on graduating foster care!

It seems like the three sisters just flew through foster care with the greatest of ease. Willow and Penny have similar coat patterns while Opal is all tortie. Freddie stayed back last week to gain a little more weight and same with Epiphany. She needed just a little more time to grow.

Who doesn’t love a photogenic kitten or a cuddle buddy?!? We might be bias but honestly they all have great purrsonalities. They can’t wait to meet their future families during adoption day at The Cattery and we can’t wait to see their adoption photo!
