That number tells you if the system is priced fairly or if the company is loading the deal with hidden profit.
Take the total system cost before incentives and divide it by the system size in watts.
Example:
$30,000 ÷ 8,000 watts = $3.75 per watt
If the price feels high, do not rush. Get another quote or have the contract reviewed first.
