Two of the major outages on our system have been cleared as of 7:35 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2026 dropping the number of customers out of power from 1,500 to 500. The below areas are currently experiencing outages:
• Alcovy Road / Alcovy Station beyond Alcovy Trestle
• Baker Avenue, Baker Lane, and Baker Road
• Star Dial Road
• Flint Hill Drive
• Farmington Lane
• Todd Drive
Crews are currently working to resolve the outages. As the temperatures begin to drop this evening and precipitation begins to freeze, there is a possibility of more outages. Our crews will be working around the clock, but depending on the number of outages that may occur, power loss may be prolonged. There is a team working in the Electric Department's control center monitoring the outages in real time so when a meter goes out, they get an alert. Thank you again to our customers for their understanding, and please continue to take all precautions to stay safe and warm in the event of an outage.
