Friday we celebrate the end of a great school year and the outstanding commitment these students made to being at school every day.

Last pizza party of the year for Good Hope Middle School congratulations to Mr. Hudson’s homeroom for having the best attendance for the month of April.

Congratulations to Mrs. Walker and her class for winning the Holly Pond Middle School March Madness attendance challenge. We had fun sponsoring the pizza party.

This week has been filled with celebrating the attendance winners for March. Mr. Jenkins' class earned the distinction of having the highest attendance rate at Good Hope Middle School. At Hanceville Middle School, the 7th grade achieved the highest attendance rate percentage. Mrs. Greenhall and Mrs. Chapin's classes were the champions of the March Madness tournament at Cold Springs Elementary. Good Hope Middle School Hanceville Middle School Cold Springs Elementary

There’s something kind of magical about watching teenagers forget, just for a little while, that they’re supposed to be “too cool” for certain things.

Give them a field, and a little friendly competition, and suddenly the walls come down. Laughter gets louder. Running replaces walking and nobody’s worried about how they look doing it.

For a moment, they’re not thinking about grades, phones, or growing up. They’re just kids again…
