Our goal is to help make the transition into your home as smooth and successful as possible. Please review the information below and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

Feeding Instructions:
Your puppy is currently eating - Purina ONE Plus Healthy Puppy Formula (Dry Kibble)
At 8 weeks of age, we recommend feeding:

Daily Feeding Schedule
* 7:00 AM – Breakfast
* 12:00 PM – Lunch
* 5:00 PM – Dinner
Always provide access to fresh, clean water.

Changing Foods:
If you decide to switch to a different puppy food, please do so gradually over 7–10 days to help prevent stomach upset and diarrhea.
Your puppy has only been introduced to puppy food, so you are welcome to begin introducing training treats of your choice.

Potty Training Schedule:
Consistency is the key to success!
Take your puppy outside:
Immediately upon waking up
After each meal
After play sessions
After naps
Before bedtime
Every 1–2 hours during the day initially
Helpful Potty Training Tips

Try not to carry your puppy outside. Allow them to walk to the door and out whenever possible.
Keep their crate and playpen near the door you will use most often for potty breaks.
Puppies quickly learn where the exit is and will begin to signal when they need to go outside.
For the first few days, avoid completely cleaning up every stool in your yard. Leaving a small amount of scent behind can help your puppy recognize the area as their designated potty spot and encourage them to go quickly in the same location.
Accidents are normal and expected. Be patient and consistent.

Exercise Pen (Playpen)
A puppy playpen is one of the best investments you can make.
Use the playpen:
When you cannot directly supervise your puppy
During busy times around the house
To prevent chewing and accidents
To provide a safe space during the teething stage

Veterinary Care
Please schedule your puppy’s next veterinary visit and booster vaccinations at approximately 9 weeks of age.
Your veterinarian will guide you through the remainder of your puppy’s vaccination schedule and preventive care.

🐾 6 Weeks Old & Growing Strong! 🐾

Our sweet Golden Retriever puppies are now 6 weeks old and thriving! 💛 This week they will receive@their routine deworming and their first DHPP vaccine to help give them a healthy start in life.

The DHPP vaccine helps protect against:
✔️ Distemper
✔️ Hepatitis
✔️ Parainfluenza
✔️ Parvovirus

As your puppy prepares to go home, we recommend scheduling their first veterinary wellness visit around the 9-week mark for their booster vaccines and health check.

Keeping up with boosters is one of the best ways to protect your new best friend as they grow! 🐶

These little personalities are getting bigger, more playful, and more lovable every day! 🐾✨
