Celebrate smart this Independence Day! 🇺🇸

🎆Leave the fireworks to the pros—public displays are safer, bigger, and better.

🚫The City of Dallas prohibits the use, selling, or possession of fireworks. Violators can face penalties up to $2,000 per offense.

🔥Keep your grill at least 10 feet away from your home, deck railings, fences, and anything that can burn. Keep children and pets at least 3 feet away from the grilling area. Clean grease and fat buildup from the grill and grease tray before cooking to help prevent flare-ups. NEVER leave it unattended.

🌊Never leave children unattended in or near the water, even for a few seconds. Designate a responsible Water Watcher—constant supervision saves lives.

📞🚒 Call 911 for fires, injuries, medical emergencies, or any situation where lives or property are in immediate danger. Call 311 to report the use of illegal fireworks.

❤️ Help us keep you, your family, and our first responders safe this Fourth of July holiday. A few simple choices can make all the difference. Stay aware, look out for one another, and let’s make this holiday memorable for all the right reasons.
