Ever wonder what is the max capacity of your PC without having to do vigorous searching? It's very simple and easy to do right from your own PC. This method will work on both Desktops and Laptops. Open the command prompt by going on your taskbar and on the search bar type in cmd. This will open the command prompt and allow you to type in your command. Once it is open you want to type in "wmic memphysical get MaxCapacity, MemoryDevices" without the quotations. Now you will get a long number which you will then use to calculate your ram capacity. Take that number and plug it into your calculator from your PC and divide it by 1048576. You will get a much smaller number but this is not the final number as you will see the memory devices listed in the command prompt along with the initial number you've received which indicates how many ram slots you actually have. In this instance you will take the number you received and divide that number 2 as shown in the command prompt. That number will then by the max capacity your PC can support which in this case equals to 32gb. That's all there is to it.
