SAVE this for your spooky season lineup — these glowing DIY Cheesecloth Ghosts are sure to leave a haunting impression. 👻

Supplies: (1) Cheesecloth (2) Equal parts Mod Podge + water (3) Balloon, Styrofoam ball, or foam head (4) Cup, jar, or bottle (5) Plastic wrap or parchment paper (6) Black felt, cardstock, or a paint marker for the eyes (7) Hot glue (optional)

Instructions:
1. Cover your work surface with parchment paper or plastic wrap.
2. Inflate a small balloon (or use a Styrofoam ball) for the ghost’s head.
3. Place the balloon upside-down on top of a cup or jar to create the ghost shape.
4. Cut cheesecloth to your desired size and gently fray the edges for an aged look.
5. Soak the cheesecloth in fabric stiffener (equal parts mod podge 1:1 water) until fully saturated, then gently squeeze out the excess.
6. Drape the cheesecloth over the balloon, arranging the folds however you’d like.
7. Let it dry completely (usually overnight or 8–24 hours depending on humidity).
8. Pop and remove the balloon (or carefully lift out the foam head if reusable).
9. Add simple black eyes with felt, cardstock, paint, or a marker.
10. Display on shelves, mantels, tiered trays, or hang them with fishing line for floating ghosts.

Optional upgrades:
* Add battery-operated fairy lights inside for a glowing ghost.
* Lightly tea-stain the cheesecloth for a vintage haunted look.
* Make different sizes and group them together for a spooky family of ghosts.
* Hang them from tree branches or your porch ceiling with clear fishing line for a floating effect. 👻
