Thankful Thursday | Rejoice in the Lord 🙏

📖 *Matthew 11:28 (HCSB)*
“Come to Me, all of you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

I don’t know about you, but right about now… I could use some rest.

Rest from confusion.
Rest from chaos.
Rest from the violence we see in our world.
Rest from the pressures that weigh on our hearts.

Life has a way of overwhelming us.

But Jesus gives us an invitation:

👉 “Come to Me…”

Like **Nannie Helen Burroughs**, who trusted God through difficult seasons, we are reminded that true strength and rest come from Him.

When I feel overwhelmed, I don’t hesitate—I run to my Savior.

Because in Him, I find:
Peace.
Quiet.
Rest.

Today, be thankful that no matter what you’re facing…

👉 You can find rest in Jesus.

Wisdom Wednesday | Hope Through Suffering

📖 Psalm 62:8 (HCSB)
“Trust in Him at all times… God is our refuge.”

There are moments in life when every option fades…
and all that’s left is trusting God.

Some say, “I always trust God.”
Others admit, “My trust wavers.”

We trust:
Doctors.
Pastors.
Attorneys.
Leaders.

But when life begins to shake…
when the weight becomes too heavy…

There is only one place where complete trust can rest:

👉 God.

Like "Lucy Craft Laney", who remained faithful through hardship, we are reminded that real faith is revealed in difficult seasons.

Pour out your heart to Him.
Be honest with Him.
Give Him everything you’re carrying.

Because in Him…
We find safety, peace, and hope.
