What can I say, it is that time of the year where everybody is offering pumpkin spice versions of whatever it is that they sell.

My lovely wife know that I enjoy changing the oil myself and working on our cars.

Bless her heart for a case of the seasons finest pumpkin spice motor oil!

Senior discounts...

They are out there for us to grab & go!

Read a post not long ago talking about various discounts out there. A couple cell phone companies were mentioned but not the one Janet and I have.

We were at the T-Mobile store (the company we have) for a phone upgrade and asked if there was a plan that would be better for us. She asked for our ID'S and told yes, a plan that is nearly 30% less for 3 phones!

I asked what plan that was and she said we qualified for the "senior" plan which she verified our ages off our ID'S.

Lesson learned... always ask.

Mark your calendar: The fall Medicare Open Enrollment Period begins in 15 days, and lasts from October 15 to December 7, 2021. Depending on your circumstances, this may be the only time during the year that you may be able to enroll in or switch to another Medicare Advantage plan or Medicare Part D prescription drug plan, or you can drop your plan and return to Original Medicare.
