I help businesses discover and develop their brand voices. Because words are powerful, and engaging copy is what keeps customers coming back.

I haven’t been on your feed for a while. Here’s why:
When I first set about preparing for the launch of my business, I was excited just to get out there. To have a logo, a website, a perfectly color coordinated Instagram. I flew through the stages of branding, picked palettes and typography on a whim. I adopted a brand voice that felt nothing like me, some perky, boss babe speech that I saw so many others in my field using to show up online.
The result? My website read like every other copywriting offer within my niche, and I ended up attracting clients that may have been the dream for those I was mimicking, but didn’t fit with my personal beliefs or passions.
In short, I was my own biggest nightmare client—skipping steps, cutting corners, speeding ahead to the detriment of the project.
Sometimes, the things we do professionally for others, we struggle to apply to ourselves.
So here I am, deep into a rebranding. This time, I’m taking it slow, even when the anticipation kiiiiills. I’m getting clear on my mission, vision, and values and remembering why I do what I do. I’m bringing along the things I left behind in the first iteration—my background in journalism and creative writing, my love for politics and environmentalism.
The result? Everything feels like me. The fonts and colors, the web copy, the beginning shapes of the design and flow. New services, new name, new identity.
I’m so thankful for everyone that has stuck around during this transition, and excited for you all to see what’s next.💛

Dear small business owners, let’s get real.
In my last post, I talked about all the benefits that come with being your own boss.
Now, let’s explore some of the negatives.
Because as rewarding, freeing, and fun as it is to run the show...
..it’s also exhausting (and lonely).
Lots of people will offer up outsourcing or batching content as cures to the challenges of running your own business.
But I don’t hear enough about the power of community!
This is hands-down one of the best ways to stay sane (and inspired) through all the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.
So if you haven’t stopped by and said hi yet, what are you waiting for?😉
Tell me about a business struggle that has been bothering you lately.
If you see someone else you can help, send them a message!
Let’s all make our support systems a lil bigger today.☺️

Here are 3 reasons I love the freelance life🤩
1️⃣ You get to be your own brand.
When you work within a company or under an agency, you’re operating within their brand.
The way you interact with clients, the services you perform, the rates you get paid...
..it’s all by their rules, not yours.
But as a freelancer, you’re fully in control of your image.
Hello, dream clients, passion projects, and rates you deserve.
2️⃣ You get to work from anywhere.
Is there anything better than traveling while you work?
As cliche as it is, location freedom is a DREAM.
Each day can be a different office—a beach club in Bali, a café in Buenos Aires, a co-working space in Shanghai.
You also get to set your own routine, whether you want to lean into your night owl tendencies or work only 4 hours a day.
3️⃣ You learn as you go.
Sure, this is true of any business you work for.
But when you’re running the show yourself, you don’t just have to be on top of your industry skills...
..you also have to learn elements of design, marketing, speaking, client relations, and so much more!
❓Have you been thinking of taking the leap?
