A special welcome ceremony moment from the 7th Annual Fiesta De Mayo Half Marathon 💜

We were proud to recognize Mayor Rick Stopfer for his support of the Irving Marathon Running Series throughout his three terms as Mayor of Irving and for believing in the power of events that bring people together and give back to the community.

Then he turned the moment around and surprised our Founder and Race Director with a plaque recognizing the hard work behind 50 events at Toyota Music Factory and the impact Irving Marathon Running Series has made in the community.

It truly takes a village, and we are grateful for everyone who has supported this journey over the last 7 years. So many people have helped build this movement, and moments like this remind us how special that support really is.

Thank you, Irving. We are just getting started.
