An Equine Assisted Program Dedicated to First Responders and their Families

As Ferris once said, “life moves pretty fast. If you don’t slow down once in awhile you could miss it.”

So how do you slow down a brain trained and conditioned to stay alert to stay alive? You have to practice.

Nature can help. Horses can help. The OurWatch team can help.

No horseback riding. No expectations. Just an opportunity to connect with a 1200 pound animal. The only requirement is a willingness to learn.

Because the energy you bring into every moment matters. And if you’re not aware of what that is, it could interfere with connection. And that, my friends, is one of your most vital resiliency tools.

Shoutout to Grapevine Fire & PD along with the Readiness Group for an unforgettable experience. We sure loved having you.

Visit the website today or call (469) 525-6482 to learn more.

Calling all SPOUSES for an EQUINE WORKSHOP!

You’re walking into the holiday season and as a first responder spouse, while these next few months can bring so much joy, they can also bring many challenges. 🦃🎄❄️🚨Tis the season to be with the ones we love but this job often interferes with that. And just because a jolly dose of mandated overtime may leave you alone more often than you’d like doesn’t mean you have to feel lonely.

We got you!

Join us this Friday, the 4th, from 9am-12pm out on the ranch to recharge, reflect, and gain skills to help you navigate whatever these next few months may have in store for you and your family.

OurWatch uses the beauty of horses- not to ride- but to assist in the process of fueling your system with everything it needs to feel grounded again.

This might be the workshop you didn’t know you needed.

So DM us or call/text (469) 525-6482 and let’s get you out there! Come solo or bring your friends. It’s $95 per person- a sweet holiday discount!

We can’t wait to meet you!.

Grateful for our newest addition to the team: DENA.

Prior police officer, licensed therapist, and an incredible equine therapist. Connection is her forte and we’re so excited for what this expansion to Oklahoma means for our first responders and their families.

Stay tuned for more updates and upcoming workshops!

While the Texas storm brought additional stress to all police and fire departments, Dallas PD was hit especially hard losing one of their own to a drunk driver as well as two other officers shot.

All within days of each other.

This line of work takes its toll on the human soul, which is why OurWatch was honored to provide a space for healing for these officers this past week. ATO (Assisting the Officer) took the extra steps to assure their brothers and sisters were taken care of and what better way than through the therapeutic power of horses. The OurWatch team was highly impressed by their openness, their support of one another, and their willingness to learn and share in the experience together.

If your department could benefit from recovering from recent events, both physical and emotional traumas, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We will continue to hold Dallas PD and their families in our hearts during this challenging time.
