Made meatloaf, mashed potatoes and corn, one of my all time favorite comfort meals, this week. This again brings up an age old argument...... tomato based sauce (NOT ketchup) or brown gravy? Which side are you on?

As you can see, tomato for me as well. I actually mix a little tomato paste with tomato sauce and add black pepper, oregano, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder together and pour over the top for the last 20 minutes of baking. 😋

Made some oatmeal cookies last night. 😋🍪 I made a batch plain, and 2 batches with chocolate chips and walnuts. What's your favorite ingredient in an oatmeal cookie?

Note, if you use dark brown sugar in your oatmeal cookie it gives it a chewier texture. I also add 1/4 cup of honey. So 😋yummy!
