Just off the phone with Jay Jerrier. His much anticipated Deep Ellum pizza joint opens Monday. Trying to decide which was my favorite comment. It's between "when we announced we were opening in Deep Ellum, I read comments like 'I'm not going down there.' I live way up in Collin County. It's a 30 minute drive" and "The way we make pizza is a pain in the ass."
I find it both disturbing and amusing when Andrew Zimmern says "those are some tasty looking balls" (about bull testicles--of which he adds "I've never had a pair so fresh"). His "oh how cute! Goat testicles" was equally odd.
