Beloved Cowboy Ranch

Howdy, and welcome. This is where we are starting.

I wanted to take a min to welcome everyone and just kinda give you a better idea about what we are trying to accomplish here and Beloved Cowboy Ranch. We are still very early on in the development stage but hey, everyone has to start somewhere right???

A friend of mine and I had a vision many years ago and now I am trying to make it a reality. We all not Veterans don’t always get the assistance they properly need. PTSD has become a rising issue amongst our combat soldiers. Animals has always have a special place in our hearts, but it have also been shown that they are able to assist people who are emotionally distressed get out of those situations. The idea is to have a small working ranch with bunk houses for our Veterans and their families to stay in while they are visiting, whether it be a weekend, long weekend, week, or possibly longer depending on the special circumstances.

Families would be able to come out on scholarships so there would be little to no cost at all for our families to be at the ranch and I am hoping that we will be able to work on assistance with getting our families to and from their homes.

Some of the activities we are looking at would include: egg collecting, milking, catching and helping with the round up of the horses in the morning, roping, helping with the cattle, horse riding lessons, archery, nature walks, possibly and gun range. All of these activities would also coincide with opportunities to work on coping skills and other services that would benefit everyone in the family on how to handle these stressful situations.
