In the pursuit of love believed
to so true and rare,
We often forget the ones who authentically care.
Focused on making others see scintillating sparkle our light,
We miss the ones who, when we are too weak to fight, they are right there to hold us tight.
We jump through hoops and climb up ladders just to prove we truly matter But in the shadows, there are those who see,
The beauty and essence of you and me.
Appreciating the uniqueness we possess,
Their love and admiration, we should not suppress.

They see the vulnerability we hide,
The fears and insecurities we confide.
They don’t use them as weapons to throw back at us.
They bow on their knees in prayer for in God we trust.
With gentle words and soft embrace,
They bring us back to a place of grace.
For love is not always grand gestures,
But the simple moments that make us feel better.
A smile, a touch, a shared laugh,
These are the things that make our hearts dance.

So, paint a mural of the the ones who love us share it with the world it's nothing to hide Acknowledge and appreciate them while they are here because when they are gone our access is denied
For in their arms, we find solace and peace,
A love so pure, it will never cease.
After all it was pure love we were in pursuit of and in them….Pure Love We Have Received!
