ADAS calibration, or vehicle sensor calibration, is the process of adjusting, aligning, and electronically aiming sensors that collect data for a vehicle's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The calibration process can be dynamic, meaning the technician takes the car out for a drive, or static, meaning the ADAS is calibrated while the car is stationary.
According to every manufacturer, ADAS must be recalibrated in the following scenarios: Windshield replacement, Collision, Replacement change in tires or ride height, and ADAS lights are on or flashing.
