In honor and recognition of Juneteenth, all Grand Prairie ISD campuses and district offices will be closed on Thursday, June 18, and will return to the regular summer hours schedule on Monday, June 22.

Pre-K in Grand Prairie ISD is a great place for students to explore and learn in engaging activities. GPISD is proud to say that students who have attended Pre-K in GPISD are nearly 3 times more likely to be ready for Kindergarten than those who do not.

GPISD is an open-enrollment district that is All in for All Kids! If your child turns 3 or 4 years old on or before Sept. 1, we invite you to begin the Pre-K registration process in GPISD. Visit https://www.gpisd.org/prek to get started on the registration process!

Summer meals for children ages 1 to 18 and enrolled students with disabilities up to age 21 are happening at 5 of Grand Prairie ISD’s campuses this summer. What’s even better is that these meals are NOT exclusive to Grand Prairie residents; all are welcome to visit one of the campuses listed below, Monday - Friday (All meals must be consumed on-site in our cafeterias, and students must be present to receive a meal; no to-go or curbside meals.)

Adams Middle School: 833 W Tarrant Rd, Grand Prairie, TX 75050
Truman Middle School: 1501 Coffeyville Trail, Grand Prairie, TX 75052
Grand Prairie High School: 101 Gopher Trail, Grand Prairie, TX 75050
South Grand Prairie High School: 301 W Warrior Trail, Grand Prairie, TX 75052

Breakfast and lunch will be available May 26 - July 31st
Meal Service Times:
Breakfast: 7:30 a.m.- 8:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m.

Monday, June 15, GPISD’s Mobile Registration Bus is heading back to DD’s Discounts parking lot on Carrier Pkwy. from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity for families to receive assistance with online registration and discover the many unique opportunities available for students in Grand Prairie ISD.
