RIP who sadly passed yesterday. A friend for almost 40 years, Bobby was the very first person to give me a shot in music, hiring me at 23 to play sax in his band. He gave that shot to SO many young musicians, and we can never thank him enough. Very few artist’s music can remain relevant for decades, but Bobby’s timeless compositions, so musical and so communicative, will never be forgotten. Nor will the wonderful, perfectionist man who created them. I love you, Bob…thank you a million times over for changing my life, and the lives of so many while you were here. Xx, DK.
