The lower pond — designed for both koi and swimming — has its own dedicated wetland filtration system, quietly doing the work of keeping the water naturally clear and balanced. No chemicals. Just thoughtful engineering and nature working together.

Right now it’s trenches, pipe, and careful planning.
Soon it will be crystal water, living plants, and a perfectly balanced ecosystem.

What looks like tubes, lumber, and concrete right now will soon support one of the most fun gathering spots in the entire pond.

This phase is all about precision — setting the structure, elevations, and foundations so the finished bar feels effortless, natural, and solid for decades to come. No shortcuts, no guesswork… just careful craftsmanship hidden beneath the surface.

Soon: stools in the water, drinks in hand, and not a hint of the work it took to get here. 😉

Big milestone unlocked on the Swim Pond project 💪🌿

The upper pond is officially rocked in — structure, shape, and character are all coming together.

Next up: Sterling sand for the beach entry and swim-up bar area (yes, a real sandy access zone 👀). Delivery is on the way, and once it lands, this space will start to feel less like a jobsite and more like a destination.

The liner install is officially DONE—just in time to beat The Big Freeze of 2026. 🥶❄️💪

Cold temps were closing in.
The liner was heavy.
The days were long.
