This Mother’s Day, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and determination of the mothers in our community. 💙

At Destination Success Dallas, many of the young adults we serve are mothers working hard to build brighter futures for themselves and their children — and many of our staff members are walking that same journey alongside them.

Happy Mother’s Day from us to you! 🌸

Meet Natahjae Terrell

A true example of what happens when determination meets opportunity.

When Natahjae came to Destination Success Dallas, he was facing a barrier that could have held him back. But instead of stopping, he leaned in. With the support of his Youth Empowerment Coach, Brittany Napoleon, he stayed focused, motivated, and committed to his growth.

Today, Natahjae is employed at Red’s Electrical and building the financial stability he once envisioned for himself. 💼⚡

His journey is proof that your past does not define your future — your decisions do.

If you’re ready to take the first step toward your own success story, we’re here for you.

This month, we’re not just raising awareness—we’re amplifying real voices. 💙

Meet Nikolai Ramírez-Millender, Dallas County Student Hireability Navigator—a dedicated advocate and team member who leads with intention both in and out of the workplace.

In recognition of Autism Awareness Month, Nikolai shared this powerful reminder:

“Autism presents differently for each person… These signs are not meant to diagnose anyone, but to help us reflect on how our communication may impact others. One of the most effective ways we can promote inclusion is by presuming competence—respecting that people can understand and communicate, even if their style is different.”

His message is simple, but impactful:
Inclusion starts with how we communicate.
Whether it’s asking “What would be most helpful for you?”, offering clarity, or honoring different communication styles—these small shifts create spaces where people feel seen, respected, and supported.

At Destination Success Dallas, we are committed to building environments where everyone can thrive.
💙 Let’s move beyond awareness—let’s practice inclusion daily.
