From California to Texas
Born and raised in California (except for a little growing up in upstate NY), we moved to Texas in 2005 and settled into Rockwall for the next 12 years. Our family had made Deer Lake Cabins a getaway for holidays and Spring Break, for a few years, and fell in love with Mount Vernon on our way through. One day, I was looking for a vacation cabin and stumbled upon a cute little cabin, tucked among the tall trees on Lake Cypress Springs and quickly put in an offer. Needless to say, that “vacation” cabin turned into our permanent residence and we couldn’t be happier.
One day, out of the blue, my husband said “why don’t you make candles?” That one question started a new passion and an adventure. After watching countless YouTube videos on candle making and a few hundred pounds of wax, I found my perfect blend! I craft and pour each candle, in small batches, from my home to ensure a quality product. I hope you enjoy my candles, as much as I enjoyed making them!
