What an incredible weekend at the 2026 8-Ball World Qualifier!

With 160+ players competing over two full days on Saturday and Sunday, the level of competition was outstanding from start to finish. There were intense matches, tough losses, clutch performances, and unforgettable moments—but most importantly, everyone came together and had a great time doing what we all love.

I want to personally thank each and every player for your continued support of Collin County APA. I truly couldn’t do what I love without all of you. Watching this community continue to grow and seeing players enjoy the game makes all the hard work worth it.

A very special thank you to my Assistant Tournament Director, Ms. Queen D, for keeping everything organized and making sure the brackets stayed updated throughout the weekend. Your dedication helped keep the event running smoothly.

Thank you as well to Mark Albright for helping set up the tournament area early in the morning and making sure we were ready to go.

And a huge thank you to the entire Snookered Tailgaters staff and management for taking care of all the players, keeping everyone hydrated, and helping create an amazing tournament atmosphere all weekend long.

With that being said, please join me in congratulating Team Ya Tu Sabe! and Team The Hustlers on winning the 2026 8-Ball World Qualifier!

These teams have earned the opportunity to represent Collin County in Las Vegas at the World Pool Championship, where they’ll compete against teams from Canada, Japan, Singapore, and across the United States for a chance to capture the title of the largest amateur pool championship in the world.
