Anyone looking for a property to build a commercial, industrial or similar property in the Deep Elllum area of Dallas? My client has this property which has a house on it, currently down to the studs, mainly for lot value. It's perfect for commercial or industrial use - it's zoned Industrial/Manufacturing although it's a single-family lot. You could build a house there but I don't know that you would want to. An apartment building or similar might work though.

Had a nice time at the DMA today. Saw three exhibits - 1st one was the Impressionists the other two were modern art. I loved them all. Cezanne and Degas and Van Gogh are my faves of the impressionists (none of which I got pics of for some reason) and Pollack has always been my fave abstract artist (i named my dog after him afterall). Saw some really interesting modern art with commentary on GLBTQIA rights and Racial equality. I love art because when it's good, it really makes a statement. See if you can understand what each of these pieces were trying to say.

Have you considered using wall materials such as tile in lieu of wallpaper or mere paint? It can create a great sense of texture and dimension not possible in most alternatives.

Here's a great example where tile was specified and helped to imbue an homage to Art Deco design in a modern way.
