Today, we had the honor of attending the dedication of the historical marker at Hilliard Memorial Golf Course. This special recognition commemorates a significant part of our community's history, as it was the first municipal golf course in the South open to African Americans. This is a great opportunity to teach our youth about City of Dallas services, the resources available to residents, and the important rights and responsibilities that come with being part of our community.
