Big news from the CDC: overdose deaths are continuing to decline nationwide for the third consecutive year.
While that progress is encouraging, the latest data also shows how much work still remains - especially as communities across the country continue facing the impact of fentanyl and other synthetic opioids.
We took a closer look at the trends, what may be contributing to the decline and why evidence-based care continues to matter.
